On Monday December 24, Their Majesties King Michael I and Queen Anne, accompanied by HRH The Princess Margarita of Romania and HSH Prince Radu of Hohenzollern-Veringen received people from the City of Beius who brought good wishes for Christmas to the Royal Family from the people of their town. The people of Beius had been invited to Savarsin Castle when Their Majesties and Their Highnesses visited Beius in the summer of 2007.

The Royal Family received the Mayor of Savarsin, many villagers and a group of traditional singers from the village of Savarsin in the afternoon. After listening to their songs, Their Majesties and Their Highnesses thanked the well-wishers for their kindness and offered them traditional Christmas sweets and drinks.
