Just a few weeks before the 2008 NATO Summit in Bucharest, HRH Prince Radu of Romania joins the Council to present a Romanian view of the new challenges for South-eastern Europe, as well as the way Romania understands her contribution to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. As a Special Representative of the Romanian Government, Prince Radu has played a major role in the official visits undertaken by His Majesty King Michael I worldwide, in 1997 and 2002 for Romania’s accession into NATO.
