Prince Radu attended the 13th Eurasian Economic Summit in Istanbul

At the invitation of the Marmara Foundation, HRH Prince Radu of Romania attended the 13th Eurasian Economic Summit in Istanbul, from the 5th to the 7th of May 2010.

Nine former and current heads of State take part in the Summit, together with ministers, members of the Parliament, diplomats, businessmen and journalists from Europe, Central Asia and from the Middle East.

Prince Radu took the floor today, May 6, 2010, in the Economy Session (Eurasia and Global Relations). His speech was entitled “Regional Challenges. A Romanian View”.

This morning, Suleiman Demirel, the 9th President of the Republic of Turley, moderated the session dedicated to the statesmen. Nine head of State and former heads of State presented their views on the most important issues of the international system.

The summit is one of the largest and most appreciated regional initiatives aimed to discuss issues related to economy, energy, environment and cultural dialog in Eurasia.
